Victorian Black Cat "Stanhope" Pitlochry Souvenir Pendant malachite which was left to herDATE: Victorian, c. 1880 A very, very strange antique "stanhope" pendant dating from the latter half of the 19th Century. It's made of carved bog oak (a form of petrified wood) and formed as a black cat but the cool part is in its chest: a tiny "micro photographic" lens that you can look through to bring up "A Memory of Pitlochry" along with a series of miniature photographs documenting the local scenery and attractions.
